Teachers may observe on a daily basis Sunday to Friday inclusive without prior enrolment. Morning classes commence at 9.30 am each day, and afternoon classes commence at 2.00 pm. There are no classes on Saturdays.
Charge for observing: £12.00 per day; £9 per half day
Daily lunch, coffee and afternoon tea if required at itemised menu prices.
Scholarships
- The 30th David Blair CBE Memorial Scholarship for Boys
- The Scholarship is for a boy to attend two weeks of the 2008 Yorkshire Ballet Seminars, all fees paid. The date of the audition is Sunday 4 May 2008 - location to be confirmed. There is no audition fee.
- Boys applying must be between the ages of 10 and 18 and must obtain their dancing teacher’s permission to attend the audition. The boy chosen will be refunded any fees, if previously paid, towards the 2008 Summer Seminar. Boys should apply in writing, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope to: The Secretary, 24 Shaftesbury Road, Richmond, Surrey TW9 2TD.

- The Stanley H Burton Scholarship will given by Mrs Audrey Burton (MBE) for two weeks.
- The Sir Kenneth MacMillan Scholarship will be given by Lady Deborah MacMillan for two weeks.
- The Sir Peter Wright CBE DMus Scholarship (sponsored by YBS Birmingham Supporters) will be for two weeks.
- The Rudolf Nureyev Scholarship will be given by The Rudolf Nureyev Foundation for two weeks.
- The Anya Linden CBE Bursary sponsored by The Linbury Trust.
- The David Gayle MBE Scholarship will be for two weeks.
- The 25th Markova Scholarship sponsored by The Coulthurst Trust, in memory of Mrs J Coulthurst OBE will be given this year to Freya Thomas for two weeks.
- The Wayne Sleep Scholarship sponsored by The Wayne Sleep Dance Foundation.
